EpiCentre at Haverhill Research Park

The EpiCentre at Haverhill Research Park adjacent to the ‘Spirit of Enterprise’ roundabout offers highly flexible office and laboratory space to young, entrepreneurial, and fast-growing companies.

While there has been much talk about the ‘Working From Home’ phenomenon since the beginning of the pandemic there are many who believe that the ‘new normal’ will be a flexible mix of part WFH and part working from an office.

Centre Manger, Kelly Boosey, says: WFH means that colleagues rarely see each other as a group, they lack bonding or social connections, and they miss out on the sharing of ideas.”

And this is where the EpiCentre fits in perfectly with both approaches. “It is more than a serviced office; while companies can rent dedicated office space for 2 months or longer, the EpiCentre also provides a flexible offer where customers can have a virtual address, book a desk for a day or meet potential clients, and provides that all important collaborative business support for young entrepreneurial businesses to grow,” adds Boosey.

In addition, the centre offers three purpose-built shared laboratories with write-up space, furnished with a range of specialist equipment. The lab space is ideal for tissue culturing, microbiology research, and more.

This reflects the EpiCentre’s strategic location near Cambridge and is part of the South Cambridge Business and Technology Cluster as well as the Cambridge-Norwich Tech Corridor.

The EpiCentre has over 60 office suites available from 17sqm (172 sqft) up to 78sqm (840sqft). These suites are available for pre-let immediately, and are supplemented by communal breakout spaces, a café and meeting and conference rooms.

The offices are rented out on an inclusive basis to include reception, concierge, rent, rates and utilities, and the building has fibre broadband with a minimum capacity of One Gigabyte. Already two companies have signed up for space and more are in the pipeline.
